What are the mounts made from?
The mounts are made from cast acrylic, a type of thermoplastic that sometimes goes by brand names such as Plexiglass or Lucite. It is the highest quality acrylic due to its excellent optical clarity and surface finish. It is also highly resistant to variations in temperature and can withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight and UV rays.
What are the dimensions?
See dimensions below. They are the same for The Mount and The Mount Lite. If you're hanging multiple mounts next to each other, we like leaving 20mm of space between them, but that's up to you.
How do I mount my medal?
Attach the included screw to the wall. We recommend leaving about 1/2" of the screw exposed for hanging.
Position your medal in the center of The Mount and feed the lanyard into the top-most slot. You can use the center slot as a guide to position the medal in the center. Feed back the lanyard into the second top slot and then out again into the third top slot. At this time, if you let go of the medal it should hold itself up by the lanyard.
Adjust the position of the medal using the lanyard, if needed. Feed the lanyard into the bottom slot to bring its end to the front of The Mount. Finish by feeding the lanyard one last time into the center slot behind the medal to hide the end out of sight at the back of The Mount.
Finally, locate the hanging "keyhole" on The Mount. Slide the keyhole onto the wall screw to hang The Mount on the wall. You may need to adjust the exposure of the screw to ensure straight and even hanging.
[For larger medals with pins and longer lanyards, like IBJJF Pans, Euros, Worlds, and Masters, we recommend:
1. Remove the pin and reattach it to the knot portion of the lanyard, right above the medal.
2. Adjust the medal so it's as centered as possible, which will allow you to show part of the lanyard below the medal.
3. Leave the screw exposed about 0.5" from the wall.
This will give you a more aesthetically pleasing display. Now step back and bask in the shining glory while contemplating future wins.]
How do I clean my mount?
Most visible dust, marks, and fingerprints can be removed using a damp microfiber cloth. You can add some mild soap to remove tougher stains. DO NOT use Windex or other harsh chemicals.
What's the difference between The Mount and The Mount Lite?
The Mount and The Mount Lite are virtually identical. The former is 1/4" in thickness while the latter is 1/8". Once mounted on the wall, you can't tell them apart.
Shipping & Returns
When will my order ship?
All orders ship from our Florida-based warehouse located in the Tampa Bay area. Orders are typically processed within 24-48 hours. Orders placed after 10am on Friday will ship out the following Monday. Orders placed during weekends and holidays will ship the following business day. Transit time is based on your location and shipping method chosen.
Where do you ship from?
Our mounts are manufactured in USA and ship from Chicago, IL.
What countries do you ship to?
We are currently shipping to US, Canada, EU, AU+NZ, and some countries in Asia. Add whatever you need to the shopping cart and go through the checkout process. Any VAT, customs and import duties are not included and are collected upon delivery, unless pre-paid during the checkout.
We offer FREE SHIPPING in the continental US on all orders over $89. Otherwise, we offer $6 flat-rate shipping as well as other expediated options.
What is your return policy?
We will be happy to accept returns that are in resalable condition returned within 30 days of the shipment date. You may choose to exchange the item, receive a refund or a store credit. Refunds are processed for product cost only, minus a 10% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable.
To initiate a return please email hello@trophywall.co with your order number and what you want to return and we'll provide an RMA number and provide instructions.
Can I cancel my order?
As long as the order has not shipped yet, you may cancel your order. Please email us at hello@trophywall.co and provide your order number. We'll do our best to help.
What if I did not receive my order?
If for some reason you did not receive your order, please email hello@trophywall.co with your order number.
Rejected and undelivered packages are returned back to our warehouse. If you'd like us to resend your package, a new shipping fee will apply. If we don't hear from you again, we treat the order as cancelled and refund the money minus a 10% restocking fee and the initial shipping cost.
